Julie Starry, a longtime Iowa Heart Center cardiac surgery nurse, joined the service as a nurse practitioner in 2003.

Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Drake University in Des Moines. She received a master’s in nursing and completed her nurse practitioner training at Creighton University in Omaha.

Julie practices at Mercy, Methodist and Lutheran medical centers in Des Moines.
