Iowa Heart Center interventional cardiologists are leaders, nationally, in making the latest treatment advances available to patients.
The Center performs more angiograms, angioplasty and stent procedures than any other group in the state. Its physicians are also active in clinical research to evaluate new therapies and diagnostic techniques, including drug-eluting stents, carotid stenting, peripheral interventions, intravascular ultrasound and devices for PFO/ASD closure.
Iowa Heart Center offers catheterization services at Mercy, Methodist and Lutheran hospitals in Des Moines, Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, and Jennie Edmundson and Alegent Mercy medical centers in Council Bluffs.
